The story behind the name.
Rooted in Grace & Purpose was founded on the belief that where we come from does not determine where we are capable of going. The name carries both personal and organizational significance.
Rooted
"Rooted" reflects the belief that strong foundations matter. Just as healthy roots provide nourishment, stability, and strength to a tree, strong values, supportive relationships, personal growth, and community connection help individuals and families flourish.
Grace
"Grace" serves as a reminder of God's grace, mercy, compassion, and faithfulness throughout life's challenges and seasons of growth. It also honors the memory and legacy of the Founder's late mother, whose nickname was Grace.
Purpose
"Purpose" reflects the belief that every person was created with unique gifts, value, and potential. Regardless of past experiences or present circumstances, every individual deserves opportunities to discover their purpose and contribute meaningfully to their families, communities, and future generations.
Together, the name Rooted in Grace & Purpose reflects a commitment to helping people develop strong foundations, embrace growth, and walk confidently toward the future.
Rooted in Grace & Purpose exists to strengthen individuals, families, and communities through holistic, trauma-informed support, meaningful relationships, practical resources, and opportunities that help people heal, grow, build stability, expand their possibilities, and create stronger futures for generations to come.
We envision thriving communities where strong relationships, shared responsibility, access to resources, and exposure to new opportunities give people the foundation to grow beyond their circumstances, strengthen their families, lead with purpose, and create lasting change for future generations.

Faith inspires our foundation, values, love, service, grace, dignity, and belief in purpose. It shapes how we show up for people, with compassion and without condition.
We serve individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Participation in religious activity is never a requirement for receiving support.
